Self-Esteem Boosters

Well here I am again. I know it’s been a while and you certainly have every right to feel a bit left out. After all I promised you that I would keep on providing you free powerful articles that will help you achieve success.

The only excuse I can give you is that I have been really busy building a new site. It’s called Lodester (my name Lode + ster). It’s my attempt at providing informative reading about various pertinent topics.

The site is finally up and running. If you could find the time to check it out and let me know your honest opinion of what you think of it I would greatly appreciate it. In return I promise to keep on giving you top notch success articles on a dependable and regular basis. Here’s the link: http://www.lodester.com/. Thanks in advance.

Alright let’s get started. Success is a hard nut to crack. Anyone who’s ever attempted to achieve it will tell you so. Quite often our spirits are crushed in the process. To prevent this from happening and thus keep you focused on your goals, here are a few Self-Esteem Boosters that over the years have proven very valuable to me.

On my road to success I learned to use these “boosters” extensively. Now they are in auto-mode and I use them without even giving them a second thought. Be warned, these self-esteem boosters when practiced with due diligence do work. So unless you are looking to stay positive, these boosters may not be for you…. (could that be?)

Booster I: Take risks and accept that you might fail!
I know, that a tuff one. After all, we are talking about success here not failure. Funny thing is that when you try something knowing there is a chance it may not work out makes the experience a lot more exiting and a lot less dreadful. You’ve accepted the possibility that you may not make it. Knowing that upfront takes a tremendous weight off your shoulders; leaving you to focus on one key ingredient: success.

Booster II: Roll with the punches!
I learned over the years that success comes a whole lot sooner and a whole lot easier when you go with the flow than when you try to “force” it. When things don’t go the way they should, see if you can change it. If you can, then change it. If you can’t, accept it and move on. Be like a river: flow around the bends not over them.

Booster III: Present your very best to others!
Don’t act, don’t pretend. Present yourself at your very best to others. When you do that you also present yourself at your very best to yourself. Sounds a bit confusing I know. Bottom line is that when you take pride in the way you look, the way you smell, your hair, your clothes, your shoes, the way you walk, the way you talk, etc. it is a sure bet that's the way you see yourself. Present yourself at your very best and you’ll see yourself at your very best. Before you know it, you walk a little taller and you feel a little prouder.

Booster IV: Trust your perceptions!
I learned a long time ago that when I felt a nagging feeling in the pit of my stomach about someone or something, eventually that feeling always, I repeat, always ended up being right. And if I went against it I always, I repeat again, always ended up getting hurt in the process. Listen to your inner voice, trust yourself, trust your intuition and your instincts. You’ll be surprised how accurate you become in analyzing situations and people right from the get go. Listen to your inner voice. It’s there to help you.

There you have it, four self-esteem boosters that if practiced every day will eventually prove to be your ace to reaching ultimate success.
